Can't see any multiplayer games

I have looked for multiplayer games for weeks but never see one. I recently tried to start one of my own for a friend to join. We are on same router. I tried LAN and Internet. he could not see my game and clicking on my steam friend and joining just says he could not connect.

I have AT&T so UPnP does not work (confirmed on their forums). I have manually opened the requested port. I have shutoff my Firewall from my AV program.


Any ideas? Any clue why I can't even SEE Multiplayer games?
