N00b question about saving

So I'm still learning the game. Played a few hours yesterday using the cornucopia mod. Leveled up, found some better gear, etc, etc.

I load up today, all progress gone. I'm using the same character as yesterday, didn't change anything with saves or whatnot.

I do have cloud saving disabled but I didn't think that would make a difference. I used several rifts while playing, as I thought those saved the game as I used them.

Am I missing something?
