Ranged weapons have difference AS multipier?

I noticed something weird when I was comparing attack speed of difference weapon types. The result was interesting and surprising to me, as I'd never notice any difference before.

Test this with character without any +AS.
Iron Flanged Mace Based on gracefuldusk this mace have -0.1 base attack speed. My char attack speed showed 90%, which is sound about right because the weapon have -0.1 base attack speed....

But when I switched to this pistol.
Iron Sixgun This pistol also have -0.1 base attack speed, so it should have the same attack speed as the mace above right? ..... No actually it got lower attack speed than the mace, the char sheet showed 81 attack speed.
How could it be lower than the mace? Where did 81 come from. The math that make sense of this result suggest that ranged weapons have 0.9 attack speed multiplier. Therefore 90 * 0.9 = 81. Did similar thing regard of 2H ranged weapons the result were the same.

So I come to a conclusion that ranged weapons have 0.9 attack speed multiplier(on top of its base attack speed).

Mind Blown!!
