Hello guys, I just wanted to hear your opinions about why would Korvaak appear on the desecrated shrines.

Do you think the shrines are dedicated to him?Is he actually Empyrion fallen from grace or something? Or is he the one who desecrated them? If so who are the shrines dedicated to?
