Closing Grim Dawn disables Windows 10 Nightlight

So this is a weird one...

The creators update of Windows 10 came with this nightlight feature (think flux):

When I close Grim Dawn, the nightlight gets reset (full blue light).

I am on Windows 10 Pro 15063.608. This seems to only happen in borderless windowed.
