Many item's "when hit spells" rarely benefit the player. many of them have 40+ sec cooldown and active for 5-10 seconds. Some heal/ some give res+ to all. The problem is nobody wants these buffs when 100 damage white mob hits.. You get healed 1300 hp for 100 damage and get %50 damage absorption for 5 seconds and after that here comes the boss ( and.. your buff is on cooldown ). For bosses, you generally have to wait if you want to use proc which is another bad thing about these either.
My suggestion is "heal or resistance increaser buffs" must be activated when hit by a yellow mob or hero/boss.
