Recommendations for a fast moving (and clearing) build

I have a Primal Strike Shaman, retaliation Warder, and Blademaster as my main characters, but they all feel slow (especially the first)! I'm not expecting PoE or Diablo-type speed, but I would like to play a build that doesn't feel like it's wallowing through molasses (I miss the speed adjustment option from Titan Quest). The Blademaster isn't as bad as the others, but survivability isn't so good either.

What builds are known for moving fast while having decent clears and good survivability?
