So, I've been trying for atleast 4 hours now to get the game running again, as I want to be able to actually run and play the game before the expansion comes, but as the title and first line suggests, I cant even launch the game anymore.
Things I've tried:
Run the repair.exe
Adjust resolution to match monitor
Change all settings to the lowest setting in the settings file
Roll back to old drivers
Add launch options to grim dawn on steam
'Wait' for 10 minutes at the black screen without doing anything (let it go for 30 minutes, to no avail)
Verify files
Multiple PC restarts, as this apparently worked for some people
Unplugging my second monitor
Compatability modes
Run as admin
Turn off steam overlay
Use a file to remove the need for steam to be launched to launch the game
Move a d3d9.dll file out of the grim dawn folder
Exclude it from my firewall
I know this has probably been asked hundreds if not thousands of times by other people, but I am unable to find a solution for this after trying ALL of the above options.
I appreciate any help I can get to run this game again.

Black Screen on startup even after trying everything other posts/websites have posted as fixes.
