Need help with a farming build

Hi! I have few characters i wish to play, but all are so gear dependant. I do have a few around 50ish level but all is hitting a Wall. Not being efficient to farm for gear.
My newest char is a planens cadance wich i think thwy called it. But hit a Wall now at 40ish. Being crushed even with fairly good gear. So what i really WANT is someone to guide me to a nongear dependant and efficient to farm atleast elite to gainer a few pieces of the gear i need for the other builds
