My system is a bit of a potato, but it can handle most games really well, even some next gen ones. Sometimes, though, while playing Grim Dawn, my poor old laptop suddenly overheats and it shuts down, all by itself. Only the most recent and the heaviest of games, can do that to my rig (after all, it is a gaming laptop with quite the high specs, especially for when i got it). I noticed that when i have Galaxy running, this happens quicker, or more frequently; but launching the game without the client, prevents you from unlocking the achievements!
I was wondering if i could tamper with settings (video card, performance etc) could solve my issue, or at least make it less "gamestopping". I am unlucky as hell, since this summer i have quite the free time on my hands, yet i can't sit down to progress decisively, inside one of my most favorite games ever. Unfortunately, i am more of a lazy gamer, rather than a computers person, so i was hoping for a quick and easy advice...
